In the state of Pennsylvania, MHM Services proudly serves as the statewide mental health provider to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Philadelphia Prison System (6 county jails), and, the staffing provider to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania including all Pennsylvania state hospitals and other various branches of the Commonwealth.?


MHM Services, in collaboration with Crown Hills, has an immediate Primary Care Physician opening located at the?Selingsgrove Center.? Selinsgrove Center is a state owned intermediate care facility located on 254 acres of land, centrally located in Snyder County, just outside the borough of Selinsgrove. The Center serves 250 people in 19 different living areas. The age range of the people living at the center is from 23 to 95 years.?The individuals who reside at Selinsgrove Center have varying levels of intellectual disabilities which require extensive supports with daily living, social skills, medical care, and vocational training. The Center provides 24-hour a day medical services, as well as, occupational and physical therapy, psychiatric, speech and hearing, recreational and social work services.?

Primary Care services are to include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Provide professional medical primary care to individuals residing at the Selinsgrove Center. Responsible for providing medical leadership and direction to Interdisciplinary (ID) team.

  • Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Admission notes and evaluations.

  • Discharge Summaries.

  • Direct and participate in ID Team functions which includes individuals serviced and their families and advocates in the decision making process to the degree appropriate to the individual?s circumstances.

  • Required legibly written documentation in the chart consistent with agency procedures, regulations, and professional medical standards.

  • Maintain and upgrade skills by attending meetings, training sessions, and seminars and by reviewing current literature on clinical topics. Obtain fifty (50) or more hours of Category I CME training per year.

  • Review of laboratory reports and test results related to medication and other aspects of medical management.

  • Inform the ID Team of the expected benefits and attendant risks, including adverse drug responses and drug-to-drug interactions, of all recommended medication regimens.

  • Confer with outside specialists/hospitals as medical needs dictate.

  • Physician will be scheduled five days per week which consist of Monday through Friday. The physician will work 7.5 hours per day (est. hours 1950 per year), which will consist of a schedule of 8 am to 4 pm excluding state holidays. ?The successful candidate will be required to sign in and out at the beginning and end of each shift worked.? One-half hour will be deducted for lunch unless authorized by contract monitor.

  • Participate in weekday physician meetings (approximate start time 8:15 am) held in the Clinical Service Directors office.

  • Provide on-call coverage as indicated?

Qualifications


  • Possession of a current unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in Pennsylvania issued by the Pennsylvania Medical Licensing Board, or Osteopathic Medicine Licensing Board.

  • Possession of a current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.?

  • Board certification or Board Eligibility in field of general practice, family medicine, internal medicine.

  • Graduation with a degree of doctor of medicine or osteopathy from a medical school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania Medical Licensing Board or the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Licensing Board.?

  • Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program; with emphasis in the allopathic medical specialties of family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, or certification in the osteopathic field of general practice.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
