LARSON DESIGN GROUP, INC. (LDG) is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team for a full-time opportunity in any of the following office locations: Williamsport, PA. Lititz, PA. A Designer I will apply basic to intermediate architectural, engineering and landscape architecture principles to complete design computations, prepare written technical reports, design plans and details.  This is a position for a person who has shown growth and ability to take on more advanced responsibilities beyond those required of a technician. A Designer I will be expected to do work in a more autonomous manner than a technician and make minor project decisions. He/She will be very competent in the use of all required software currently used by LDG. 

  • Ability to apply basic to complex engineering principles to complete computations, technical reports and drawings.

  • Proficiency with Microstation/Inroads and/or AutoCAD to develop technically accurate, clean and deliverable drawings.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports and other technical documents.

  • Ability to review and interpret written regulations and permit requirements and apply them to design projects.

  • Good organization and time management skills.

  • Ability and willingness to take direction from others.

  • Ability to work in a Team environment or to work independently on specific project tasks.


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • EIT Certificate is preferred.

  • 0-4 years experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
